Center for Medicines Information and Pharmaceutical Care(PIOLK) is a center established by the Ubaya in 1999, in collaboration with Nottingham University, England, and with the support from the British Council Higher Education Link (HEL).
The Ubaya PIOLK established to facilitate, support and ensure the effectiveness, safety, and rationality of treatment by providing impartial information, no commercial bias and scientifically proven.
To be a center of excellence for practice; a model of center; a resource and training center.
To promote the rational use of drugs (effective, safe, and affordable) and appreciate the patient choice, through:
- Active and passive provision of drug information to all sectors of health professionals and the community;
- Formulation and development of pharmaceutical services (clinical and community pharmacy);
- Continuing education and training on drug information as well as pharmaceutical services;
- Research on the practice of pharmacy
- Dissemination of Drug Side Effects’ monitoring and reporting strategies
- Development of cooperation with institutions, agencies, NGOs, and communities

It is a health education services to the community concerning:
- The rational use of drug
- Preventive actions against disease treatment
- Alternative medicines
- Drug therapy option against a certain disease

The Radio Station Service has been ISO 9001 : 2008 certified.
It is a scientific study that keeps up with the latest scientific developments related to:
- Prevention of disease, and
- The rational use of drug; using a format consisting of four articles, namely: (1) focus, (2) editorial, (3) the two articles that could be written by the pharmacist and / or doctor.
The Rational Bulletin is published every March, June, September, and December.
You can receive the Rational Bulletin by filling out the subscription form (can be obtained at the PIOLK office or via the website) and pay a subscription fee.
The Rational Bulletin service has been ISO 9001: 2008 certified.
It is a scientific study of drugs that include:

- Position in therapy
- Rational use of drugs
- The price of drugs written by pharmacists
The Medicament is published every June and December.

Continuing Professional Education (P2B)
